Hexagons – no Y-seams

This is the first of what will be ongoing monthly Saturday demonstrations. Bonnie O’Connor is here showing us how to make wonderful hexagon quilts without any Y-seams. There’s an acrylic template both large and small – one will fit 10″ precuts (layer cakes) and the other will fit 2 1/2″ strips (jelly rolls) or 5″ squares (charms). You can also use the same template and arrange the shapes into a braid.
